| Was most possibly the best book I've ever read. Which is really saying something because I haven't been able to find anything to top Looking For Alaska. Except Paper Towns.
Both by the same author.
John Green is an amazing author!
Paper Towns starts out when these young kids find a dead body in their neighborhood park and then it skips to their senior year in high school when the girl, Margo, asks the boy, Quentin, to drive her around an a revenge escapade. He says okay. It's the most exciting adventure of his life so far.
Next day: Margo is gone. Day after that, Margo is gone. Margo is not coming back. Ever.
So he starts finding these clues that she left for him and it is his SECOND most exciting adventure of his life. Will Quentin find Margo? ...Does she even want to be found? [By me.]
The ending of this book was incredibly emotional; a mix of happy and sadness. A little like Looking for Alaska, but more touching, I thought.
Yes. I could see her perfectly through the cracked darkness. That was the last line of the book. And it doesn't mean what you think it means. ;p
