Solar System Quiz 1.0 Empty
PostSubject: Solar System Quiz 1.0   Solar System Quiz 1.0 EmptySat Nov 01, 2008 4:42 pm

Hey. I've decided to make a quiz about the solar system. The 5 people who get the highest score will be given another quiz, about the universe in general, which will be a bit harder. And know this.... I will know if you cheat on this. That you can count on. Now, to the quiz:
1. Name the planets in order in our solar system.
2. What is the only thing known that can capture light?
3. What planet has the most moons?
4. What massive cloud of matter surrounds the solar system? (name it)
5. Does Mars have an atmosphere, or not?
6. What planet in our solar system is the densest?
7. What sort of star emits signals, sort of like a lighthouse emits light?
8. Which planet harbours the Great Red Spot & which one harboured the Great Dark Spot?
9. Which two planets in the solar system harbour water, and have harboured life in the past, or still harbour it?
10. Which planet has the thickest atmosphere?
11. How many degrees is Uranus tipped onto its side? (as in the angle degrees)
12. What is the name of Mars' moons?
13. What caused Saturn to have its rings?
14. What is Jupiter's core made of?
15. What is a form of energy that does not need any matter so it can travel to Earth?

Thats the end. Very Happy Smile

Ok, I can't tell you the answers, for fear of someone else taking them. So, I'll just give you a mark out of 15, OK? Your mark is: 10/15. Not that good, but not that bad either, is it? Smile
