RULES:

You must be at least 10 to be here.
If you see someone breaking the rules, please report the post. Thank you.

1. No cursing or sexual language is allowed here. There are young kids here, and it is not necessary to post bad words for the whole world to see. I don't care what you do in real life, but here it's going to be a clean environment. IF you use bad words and/or sexual languages, I will see, and others will see, a message that says something along the lines of "Report me for using bad words", OR "Report me for using sexual language". That means that whoever sees that message should report the poster. However, I have let some words out of the filters, like "crap", because just about everyone says it.

2. Please refrain from Double/Triple Posting. This means do NOT post two or more times in a row. Wait for someone else to post, then you can post more. There is an EDIT button on your post that you can click, and voila! you can edit your post. There is no need for double posting when you can edit. You can double post if it is NECESSARY. Please try not to though!

3. Save our precious time and PLEASE don't spam. There is nothing more annoying than reading spam. Better yet, there is nothing more annoying than deleting the spam. If you don't know what spam is, here is the acronym:

Stupid
Pointless
Annoying
Message

Just don't do it!

4. Not all of us are twisted pedos that look at porn all day! In other words, DO NOT POST IT. I am sure to say that no one wants to see your sexual preferences, or really cares much for that matter. Remember, there ARE kids here. If you decide to be a perv and upload pornographic images, you will be perma'd. (Perma'd means permanently banned.)

5. My biggest pet peeve.... is when people backseat-moderate. That term means that you are not a moderator or administrator, but you act like one. If you don't have a red or orange name, you have no business whatsoever telling people what they can and can't do. Now I'm not going to perma you for telling them to read the rules, but if you constantly are telling people "don't double post", "read the stickies next time", etc, etc. Then I will warn you, and if you CONTINUE to keep doing it, I will temporarily ban you so you can learn your lesson. If you see someone breaking the rules, report 'em, then walk away like the bigger person. Don't stick around and tell them what to do.

6. Read the stickies. Pretty much self explanatory. Some section's rules may be different than these that I am typing up right now. It would be very beneficial to you to read the stickies.

7. BE NICE. Some people are bullied at school. Some are bullied at home. Some are bullied at both. Come on guyssss, don't bully them online too! This is supposed to be a nice place! So don't call people names and/or be mean. As stated in the Declaration of the United States of America... "...all men are created equal..." so there is no reason to be mean!

8. Limit the off topic discussion. Yes, I know things can kind of veer off topic, but please try to keep it to a minimum. People who click on the thread wanna read about whatever the title suggests, not something that seems totally random. Also, don't make a new thread directed toward one specific person. I don't mind if you direct a post to a specific person(s).

9. Respect others' beliefs. You may be Christian, Buddhist, or anything else, but that does not mean your religion is better. You are not allowed to force your beliefs upon anyone, or try to change them. If you are any religion and think Atheists are wrong (or Vice Versa), who cares; they don't want to hear it, it was the way they were raised or what they choose. We all have the choice to believe what we want, so don't look down on them for it. [Thanks to Matt for the idea.]

10. A special rule to moderators: you are NOT better than anyone else, so don't act all haughty like "Mmhmm. I am a mod, so IIII don't have to follow the rules. HAHAH everyone else." And please. Don't be a know it all. You should be role models for the other users. However, if it is necessary, you may break rules if you absolutely HAVEEE to. Just please try to refrain from doing so.

11. Another mod-only rule: You as well as everyone else have to follow these rules. If you fail to comply, you will be de-modded, and how shameful would that be? Like I said above in #8, you may break rules if it is completely necessary. Just keep in mind, posting porn is not necessary if that's what you're thinking. :P

12. MOST IMPORTANT RULE, THUS REQUIRING THE USE OF CAPS LOCK: HAVE FUN!

REMEMBER: The mods and I have the final say in the rules. We will try our best not to be TOO serious, because we want this to be a fun, funky place to chillax.
If you see somebody breaking the rules and want to let us know, hit the button on their post that looks like this:
We'll get the report online or offline, and we will deal with it immediately.

PUNISHMENTS!!

First, lets start with the vocab:
Infraction: A strike (5 strikes, you're out)
Ban: When you are not able to post because you are barred from these forums.
Perma Ban: When you are PERMANENTLY banned from these forums.

Okay, moving on: Infractions:
If you get FIVE infraction points, you are banned for a period of ONE week. After that, 5 more points and you can say hasta la vista, because you are going to be perma'd. The more severe the offense, the more points you will receive. Points are not good!

If the offense is great enough, you will not get an infraction, but you will be banned without warning.

Whoever infracts you will inform you by PM with all the info (why, points, a link to the offensive post, etc.) Not only will YOU be able to keep track of infractions, but we will as well.

STAFF INFORMATION:

Here on these forums, there are three staff positions. I will explain them all.

Administrator: Me. Basically, I take care of the forums, change the theme, anything I want, really. I make the choices on who to hire, etc. I have all the powers and such as the moderators. If I ever hire another admin, they will have a red name, like me.
Note: I am going to change my color a lot because I get bored of it easily, and I'm not going to change this every time. Just know that "Connor" is always the only admin. :P

Moderators: Moderators who help me [the admin] make sure EVERYONE is following the rules. They also have some special powers over you plain folk ( :P ). They as well as me can ban members, write posts in restricted forums (such as the forums under "The Boring Stuff"). They can have special ranks that I make them, and they can choose and pick the ones they want to use. We have the power to make regular members special ranks, which we will use as punishment, OR rewards. Possibly prizes if we do any contests. Moderators have orange names.

Special User: A person who I honor for their posts. They don't have any special powers like the other positions on this page, except they get a purdy colored name. I may add more people to this group when I feel the urge. Congrats to Purpley, our first 'awesome poster!'

AVATAR + SIGNATURE INFORMATION:

Here is some important information about your signatures and avatars.

Avatar:
An avatar is an image that appears where your information and details are in your posts. You can only have one at a time, unfortunately. The dimensions that you must have (at most) are 150px X 150px, and the file size can't be any higher than 84kb otherwise the avatar will not fit. Please do not post anything you would otherwise not post in other areas of this forum.

Sig:
A signature is, well, a signature. It appears at the end of every single post you write. There is a 500 character limit. You can also use an image as your sig. To cut down on lag, please don't make the picture any larger than 500x200 pixels. Moderators do not HAVE to follow this rule, but the forums will be just that much faster if they do.

RANK INFORMATION:

Here is rank info you might need or want. I created rinks for fun. Most of the titles are supposed to be humorous, but who knows. Haha. Okay, here are the automatic ranks which normal members will get:

After you pass 5000 posts you get to choose your own rank.

What are ranks? Ranks are text that updates after certain post checkpoints. You cannot change your rank until you reach the next interval. Mods are able to change theirs, but that is all.

If you brag about your rank, or spam to receive a new rank, then I will take matters into my own hands and change your rank myself. But note: It won't be a flattering rank.
